Chris founded Flex Line Media to meet the needs of a growing sport in New Zealand. Originally from Brisbane, Australia, he moved to NZ in May 2016 to work in the marketing department of a ski resort, creating visual content primarily for social media. After three seasons of long demanding days and with heaps of media experience, he made the move to Christchurch in late 2018. Looking for something to do, he quickly fell in love with Disc Golf, a sport he had played occasionally in the past. Always one to start new projects, he utilised his skills from the ski field to develop Flex Line Media 1.5 years later to showcase and support the amazing local talent we have here. Chris currently wears many hats, doing pre-production, camera operation, photography, editing, motion graphics and more! It is a lot of work but it’s all worth it to see the local scene getting the attention it deserves.
Gwen
Camera/Production Assistant
Very capable behind a camera, Gwen provides valuable input whether it’s photography, gathering B-Roll or as throw cam operator. Being engaged to Chris, she is involved at most points during production and is always happy to lend a hand where needed! Gwen also has an exceptional eye for detail and assists during post-production to ensure each video is as good as possible. Her contribution to the quality standard we aim for is invaluable and our coverage wouldn’t be the same without her!
